Unlike the basement dwelling haters of the metro who have never lived anywhere else and hate anything Kansas City related, but yet still continue to live here, supporters of the KC Streetcar have been proactively moving forward with streetcar expansion project. Checkit:

Although a previous expansion to Independence Ave, and not the Plaza or UMKC was turned down, and rightfully so, this new expansion movement has the support of the KC Metro and no real opposition has been active. What opposition may have existed has been decapitated.
