FUTURE EXPANSION TO THE BERKELEY RIVERFRONT PARK A GREAT IDEA AS NEW DEVELOPMENT STARTS GOING VERTICAL

A kickass KC Streetcar insider took these photos of the phase 1 new residential and retail development at the Berkeley Riverfront Park where the building has started going vertical adding the framework for the upper levels:

And this project, for those who actually pay attention to what's really going on in downtown Kansas City and the riverfront, will eventually be finished to look like this:

More info on this great new development can be found here:

In addition, for those who actually go outside and do activities instead of hiding out in their mom's basement or squatting on the free wifi at Starbuck's, volleyball clubs meet everyday and play on the sand volleyball courts at Berkeley Riverfront Park:

As was discussed last year in the KC Streetcar blog community, expansion to the riverfront makes sense just as it does to expand south to UMKC: http://tonyskcstreetcar.blogspot.com/2016/12/expanding-kc-streetcar-to-riverfront.html

Meanwhile, support for the KC Streetcar remains strong and continues to grow, both in real life as well as in social media:

To wit, lone opposition continues to stay losing, hiding out in their mom's basement, still having accomplished nothing other than losing a libel lawsuit: http://guardianksmo.blogspot.com/

And as usual, lone opposition continues to stay losing in social media with no likes or retweets despite having "followers"

Sore loser, or just pathetic loser?  You decide...
